Poster Presentation Guidelines
Initial poster acceptance notifications were sent at the end of June to the designated presenter of each accepted poster.
Updated notifications including the assigned poster number, session, and presentation date, will be sent by Friday, 1 August 2025.

Poster Criteria:
- All posters must be printed in vertical orientation (“portrait” orientation).
- Posters must fit within the size allotment of the poster display boards. The dimensions of your poster should be no larger than A0 size (84,1 x 118,9 cm) on matte paper.
- Please print poster text large enough to be easily read at a distance of approximately 1.5 meters.
- All posters must be printed and presented in English.
- All posters should include the conference logo in the header (optional).
1. Layout Sections
- Title (100 characters)
- Bold, large font
- Include authors and affiliations below the title
- Abstract (Max. 250 words)
- Introduction / Background
- Brief context and rationale for the study
- Objectives
- Clear, concise aims of the research/project
- Methods
- Study design, participants, data collection and analysis
- Results
- Use charts, graphs, and tables; minimal text
- Discussion / Conclusion
- Key findings, interpretation, and take-home message
- References and Acknowledgements (if applicable)
2. Design Guidelines
- Font: Use clear, readable fonts (e.g., Arial, Calibri)
- Avoid dense blocks of text
- Maintain consistent formatting and color scheme
3. visuals
- Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi)
- Ensure all figures and tables are clearly labeled
Onsite Printing Option
- If you do not want to travel with your poster, you may take advantage of onsite printing (walking distance from meeting venue).
- Please submit file(s) to [email protected] and cc: [email protected] no later than 9 August.
- File(s) should be submitted in PDF format, only, along with the full name and address (room, postal code, street, house number) to issue the invoice.
- Please include in your email subject heading: “MEMC25 Poster Printing Order Request”, for easy reference.
- Artwork must be submitted in high resolution, actual size and 150 dpi.
- The printing cost is approximately $26 including VAT.
- For poster pickup: 1089 Budapest, Nagyvárad Square 4 (Semmelweis University Nagyvárad Square theoretical block).

Poster Assignment and Attendance
- Poster numbers and schedule notifications will be sent to the presenting author by Friday, 1 August.
- A designated presenter (author or colleague) must be present during the assigned poster session to explain the research and answer questions.
- The presenter is expected to attend the entire Congress. Please note that poster session times cannot be changed to accommodate travel plans.
- Posters displayed on a board or date not assigned will be removed without notice.
- Please email [email protected] by Sunday, 20 July only if you need to withdraw your poster
